aggie martin is a grand old dame and a chic parisian urbanite. stability, permanence and stoic wit blended seamlessly with young charm and frivolous intent. the building; a mix of brampton’s history combined with eclectic modern elements and french design flair. the result is a warm and comfortable space that takes guests across the decades invoking a sense of history and hospitality. the former home of blain’s hardware, the orange hall and the location where brampton’s incorporation papers were signed in 1873, the building is one of the most historically significant in the region. respecting the historical features of the building, designer glen peloso created a space that brings parisian panache to downtown brampton. chef stephen macpherson is knowledgeable and matured to understand the fine balance in textures, flavours and presentation that please the senses and the palate. leading the kitchen with an exacting expectation for quality and fresh ingredients, stephen continuously reinforces the reason customers keep coming back. opened in the fall of 2006 by debi & bruce, aggie martin has been well-received in the community. the goal is to continue providing top service and a unique blend of flavors, sounds and textures to customers , creating a wonderful experience for guests at each visit. and for those of you who wanted to know... aggie martin is a combined family name; aggie after debi's grandmother and martin after bruce's grandmother.
