4 hour cooking class: Complete preparation and instruction for meal including; use of equipment and ingredients, sauces and stocks, meat and vegetables, timing, sweets, chef tricks, presentation.
3 course meal, appetizer, entree, dessert
Wine pairing discussion. Tasting / pairing available.
Present and enjoy the completed meal with a guest where you can show off your new skills
The details
1. Classes are held once per month on a Monday night.
2. Pricing varies depending on whether for an individual or a group. There are discounts for groups and the discount will vary depending on how many people are in the group. On occasion the price may be affected by the use of gourmet ingredients. Please ensure you are clear on the pricing for the date you have booked in advance.
3. The cooking lesson is 4 hours. 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm. The guest joins you for dinner at 7:00 pm. The evening is usually over around 10:00 to 10:30 pm.
4. The event is small, intimate and a lot of fun. Our approach is casual, instructive, hands-on with a lot of laughter and camaraderie.
5. All food costs are included in the price. The only thing not included is wine and alcohol, taxes and gratuity.
6. Menu and recipes will be provided for you to take home.
7. Please wear comfortable flat shoes with a non-slip sole. Running shoes are acceptable. Keep your jewellery to a minimum. Chef coats and aprons will be lent to you for the lesson. It is best to wear a light shirt as the chef coats can make you warm.
8. Let us know in advance If you have a food allergy.
9. A deposit of $25.00 is required when booking. The deposit will be refunded in full up to two weeks before the event. After that it is non-refundable.
10. For one person cooking and one guest after the cooking lesson for dinner the price is $180.00

We have been visiting local farms and have come up with a menu that we are sure you will love...local beef and vegetables, Omega-3 pork, a gourmet burger, and many more items.
