We offer a unique ambiance for those looking for an intimate wedding venue. Our building is historic – built in 1863, it has been completely restored. There is original wood floors, tin ceiling, woodwork, tin crown mouldings. The décor is Parisian chic with a harmonious blend of old and new
Our main floor dining room will accommodate up to 70 people, and our second floor will accommodate 30 people
We have a number of standard menus for events, and of course can create a custom menu to suit your needs. We are able to accommodate special dietary needs and can segregate preparation areas for food allergies.
We are able to prepare buffet service or regular table service for your event.
To start the process of deciding your menu, we recommend you look at our website, catering and menu section and our regular dinner menus.
Once you have had a chance to review the menus we can discuss the dishes that strike your fancy and develop a complete menu for you.
For groups over 20 people we ask for your guests to pre-select their meals or in the alternative we plan the same meal for all guests (excepting special dietary requirements
Depending on your food choices, a three course meal plus an hors d'oeuvres platter for when guests arrive and are mingling will start at approximately $45.00 per person.
Non-alcoholic beverages are charged at $1.50 per person with the actual quantity served being tabulated and calculated for payment at the end of the event
For alcoholic beverages, you have the choice of an open bar, poured wine service during the event, open bottles on the tables, cash bar, etc. We can even arrange to order your favorite wine for your event. (Sorry, you can not bring in your own wine. We do not have a corkage permit with the LCBO) Alcoholic beverages are always a personal preference and we are happy to discuss the pros and cons with you. As with the non-alcoholic beverages, the final bill will be presented at the end of the event.
If you have a special cake for your event you are welcome to bring it with you. However, all regular desserts are prepared in house. We have our own pastry chefs who can prepare your special cake for you if requested. We also work with Dufflet Pastries, affectionately called “the queen of cakes” who are masters of wedding cakes and desserts. www.dufflet.com/
Depending on your event, you may want to hold your ceremony here, arrange flowers, music, a particular color scheme or other decorations, even photographers. We have suppliers we work with to ensure your needs in this regard are met. When we meet with you we can discuss these details and obtain prices and make arrangements on your behalf.
Dependant on the complexity of the event and the amount of up front costs we incur, a deposit of 20% to 50% will be required at time of confirmation and booking.
If you would like to meet with us to discuss your event further, we are available from 10 am to noon or 2pm to 4pm Tuesday to Friday or 9 am to noon or 2pm to 4 pm Saturday or Sunday.
